BMS Students Participate in Speech and Debate Tournament

The Middle School Speech and Debate Tournament was held Saturday May 12th in Des Moines. Sixty-three debate teams participated in this event. Bettendorf Middle School received 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th place speaking awards. Luke Soko (first place speaker), John Bai (third place speaker) and Shannon Micklewright (fifth place speaker).

6H1 Roman Feast
On Friday, May 11, Bettendorf Middle School's 6H1 celebrated the conclusion of their study of Roman with an annual Roman Feast feauring costums, a play and food.
