Thanks to the Iowa Local Food for Schools grant from the IA Dept. of Agriculture, we can serve students food sourced directly from Iowa farms. On Thursday, BMS featured pork sausage links for breakfast. For lunch, students enjoyed a taco bar with food from farms across Iowa.
Hannah and her neighbors run a lemonade stand every year, and over the last 4 years, they’ve raised over $10K for charities! This year, they raised $4K, which was matched with $12K to donate to Trinity Health Foundation for breast cancer. 🍋💖 #BettPride #BETTerTogether
